Orient the corners and finish

Goal: The solved cube.

Hold your cube like the one on screen (yellow on top) and repeat the moves of each case.

Use the cube on the page: watch the cases, then practice. Turn layers by dragging a piece or with the keyboard (U D R L F B, Shift = prime).

Last step: twist the corners so yellow faces up. You use R' D' R D, and it's normal for the bottom to get scrambled along the way: it comes back by itself at the end.

  1. Put a corner with yellow facing the wrong way at the front right. From now on, don't rotate the whole cube.
  2. Repeat R' D' R D until its yellow faces up: 2 or 4 times.
  3. Turn only the top layer (U) to bring another wrong corner to that spot and repeat.
  4. When all of them have yellow on top, turn U to line up the layer. Solved!

If you rotate the whole cube in the middle of this step, the bottom won't come back. Only U between corners.

Congratulations!

You can now solve the Rubik's cube. Practice with full scrambles until you can do it without the guide. The next level, Speedcuber, will teach you to do it in under a minute.

Got it?When you can do it on your cube, mark it to track your progress.

Practice on the cube: when you succeed, the lesson will be marked as done.
