PLL algorithms: all 21 cases

PLL is the last step of the CFOP method: with the top face done, it finishes the cube with a single algorithm.

There are 21 PLL cases. To recognize them you only need to look at two faces (front and right) and look for:

  1. Headlights: two corners on one side with the same color.
  2. Blocks: a corner and its edge of the same color, together.
  3. Bars: a whole side of the same color.

If there are no headlights on any side, it's a diagonal corner case (N, V, Y, E).

G-perms

G perms are the hardest to recognize: look for the 2x1 block and where the headlights are. Train them on their own in the trainer.

Want to really learn them?

In the academy you practice them with hints on the 3D cube, and in the trainer you drill random cases until you know them by heart.
