The yellow edges
Goal: The yellow edges matching the side centers.
Hold your cube like the one on screen (yellow on top) and repeat the moves of each case.
Use the cube on the page: watch the cases, then practice. Turn layers by dragging a piece or with the keyboard (U D R L F B, Shift = prime).
Now each yellow edge has to match the center of its side. The algorithm is R U R' U R U2 R', called Sune.
- Turn U until at least two edges match their center.
- If the two correct ones are next to each other, put them at the back and on the right and do
R U R' U R U2 R' U. - If they are opposite (front and back), do the algorithm once from any side: they will end up next to each other, which is the case above.
