Crosses pattern
Colored crosses on four faces.
About this pattern
Four faces end up with a cross of another color. Like the checkerboard, it uses half turns only, in this case of the up, right and left layers, repeated twice, which swap pieces between opposite faces without twisting them.
Since no piece gets twisted in place, it's very easy to do without reading the algorithm: it's the same three half turns, twice.
How to do it
- Start with a solved cube, with yellow on top and blue in front.
- Do these 6 moves (press the button to watch them on the cube).
- To undo it, do the algorithm backwards:
L2 R2 U2 L2 R2 U2.
