Vertical stripes pattern
Three colored stripes on the four side faces.
About this pattern
The four side faces get three vertical stripes in different colors, while the top and bottom stay one color. It's one of the longest on the list: 17 moves.
Since the top and bottom don't change, it looks great standing the cube on a table and turning it: the stripes change color from one face to the next.
How to do it
- Start with a solved cube, with yellow on top and blue in front.
- Do these 17 moves (press the button to watch them on the cube).
- To undo it, do the algorithm backwards:
F' U' F' L' R2 B' D L' D2 R' D B' L2 R' F' U' F'.
